Event Times

The doors will open at midday everyday.  The first acts come to the stage at 13:30! All stage times will be published closer to the time - stay posted.

The headliners will finish up at around 22:30 on all days, except the Sunday in London when we'll finish at 22:00.

You can enter at any time, but there is no readmission should you leave the festival site.

All times are subject to change.

Age Restrictions

Wireless Festival is not suitable for young children.  Children under 5 (Aged 4 or below) are NOT permitted.

Children under 16 years old must be accompanied by a parent or guardian (18 or over) at all times and will need a full price ticket.

So if you're 16 or older you can come on your own, but remember to bring ID if you look young!

Proof Of Age

There are a couple of times we may ask you for ID to prove your age.  If we do, take it as a compliment!

Entering the festival: If you are lucky enough to look under 21, we may ask you to prove your age if you’re not with someone that can prove they’re 18 or over. 

The ONLY accepted proof of age documents are:

1) Passport (Not a photocopy, must be valid)
2) Photocard Driving License (Inc. provisional)
3) Proof Of Age Card - The card must be part of the PASS scheme and carry their hologram.
4) Birth Certificate (Not accepted for purchasing alcohol, cannot be a photocopy)
5) Northern Ireland Electoral Identity Card

Buying alcohol: A challenge 25 policy will be in place for all alcohol sales on site. If you look under 25, we will need ID from you or we cannot sell you a drink.

What To Bring

We know what the British summer is like, so come prepared! Bring clothes for rain, sun, night and day! Don't forget your sunscreen and sunglasses and most of all, YOUR TICKET!

Bring enough cash and/or a cash card (keep it safe!) - We have cash machines onsite, all which accept all UK debit cards - some of the machines will also accept all International & credit cards. We also have trained engineers onsite to manage these machines - please ask them for assistance if required. A fee will be charged to use the machines.

Bring ID if you look under 21 in order to be admitted to the festival.  You will also need ID if you want to buy alcohol and look 25 or under.

Medication - If you need to bring medication with you, we recommend bringing a doctor’s note or a prescription for it if it is not easily recognisable. We're not doctors, please be understanding if we question what you're bringing in as it is important to prevent drugs getting in to the festival.

Plus, tell your friends of any allergies you have.

Do not bring
•    Illegal substances & Legal highs (Inc. nitrous oxide) - Don't do it!
•    Standard compact cameras will be permitted, though you will not be able to take in a camera with a lens longer than 6 inches. Video cameras are not permitted on site (This doesn't include mobile phones - you can bring those!).
•    Food hampers/cool bags/boxes; alcohol; You can take food and soft drinks in to the festival for your own consumption provided that any soft drinks are held in unopened and sealed plastic or paper containers with a capacity of 500ml or less. If you are bringing food and drink, please do so in a carrier bag or small rucksack.
•    Glass bottles or containers.
•    Offensive weapons or anything that may be considered offensive.
•    Pyrotechnics or fireworks; Distress flares & flares; Smoke bombs.
•    Laser pens.
•    Chinese lanterns.
•    Flags on poles.
•    Tables; chairs of any sort, including stools, floor seating and shooting sticks; gazebos and parasols - Seriously, leave the furniture at home!
•    Barbeques or any kind of cooking apparatus.
•    Large (golf) umbrellas.
•    Bicycles, scooters, roller skates.

Food & Drink

You are welcome to take food and soft drinks in to the festival as long as any soft drinks are held in unopened and sealed plastic or paper containers with a capacity of 500ml or less.

If you are bringing food and drink, please bring it in a carrier bag or small rucksack.

Please don’t bring any alcohol or glass containers/bottles of any sort.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS – WIRELESS BIRMINGHAM TICKETS PRIZE DRAW

1    INTRODUCTION

1.1    This Prize Draw is operated by Live Nation (Music) UK Limited, company number 2409911, whose registered office is 2nd Floor, Regent Arcade House, 19-25 Argyll Street, London, W1F 7TS (“Our”, "Us" and "We").
1.2    The following are the terms and conditions (“Terms and Conditions”) for a Prize Draw to win the prize as detailed in clause 5.1 below ("Prize Draw"). The Prize Draw is run through the competition page of Our Wireless Festival website accessible at http://www.wirelessfestival.co.uk/competitions (“Website Page”) and Our Twitter page accessible at accessible at https://twitter.com/LiveNationUK ("Twitter Page").
1.3    These Terms and Conditions are in addition to Our privacy policy http://www.livenation.co.uk/privacy, which governs how We may use the data We collect from you.
1.4    In addition to these Terms and Conditions, you hereby agree to comply with Twitter’s terms of use accessible at https://twitter.com/tos and the Wireless Festival website terms of use accessible at http://www.wirelessfestival.co.uk/legal/terms-of-use.
1.5    The Prize Draw is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Twitter and if you enter the Prize Draw, You release Twitter from any and all liabilities in connection therewith.
1.6    Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully.  These Terms and Conditions set out who can enter the Prize Draw, how the Prize Draw will be run and the circumstances in which We may withhold all or part of the Prize and/or disqualify you. By submitting an entry for the Prize Draw, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and agree that if you win, you will grant to Us the right to use your name and/or image in Our publicity as set out below.
1.7    We reserve the right to cancel or amend these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice.  When you enter the Prize Draw you are deemed to accept the Terms and Conditions at the date you enter.  Any amendments or cancellations to these Terms and Conditions will be posted on the Website Page and/or the Twitter Page.
1.8    We reserve the right to disqualify you and/or report, remove or block you from (or remove your entry or comment from) Our Twitter Page if your entry or any comment from you is, or may reasonably be considered to be, defamatory, libellous, hateful, racially or religiously biased/offensive, unlawfully threatening or unlawfully harassing to any individual, partnership, corporation or entity or if We have reasonable grounds to believe that you have breached any of these Terms and Conditions.

2    ELIGIBILITY

2.1    To enter the Prize Draw you must:
(a)    be resident in the United Kingdom;
(b)    be able to comply with all the Terms and Conditions;
(c)    have a Twitter account; and
(d)    be at least 18 years old.

You must not be an employee, agent or a director of, or a member of the family of an employee, agent or director of:
    (a)     Us or any of Our associated companies or subsidiaries; or
(b)    any advertising agency or web company connected with Us.

2.2    We reserve the right to verify the eligibility of entrants. We may request such information as we consider reasonably necessary for the purpose of verifying the eligibility of an entrant and prizes may be withheld unless and until We are satisfied with the verification. If, within four (4) days of such request, we are not satisfied with the verification We shall be entitled to withdraw your selection as the Winner and We shall have the right to select an alternative Winner in Our absolute discretion.

3    PRIZE DRAW AND ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

3.1    Entries to the Prize Draw must be received by Us between midday on Wednesday 26 March 2014 and midday on Saturday 26 April 2014 (the “Entry Period”).

3.2    To enter the Prize Draw you need to:
(a)    visit the Website Page;
(b)    click on the pink “share” button below the article about the Prize Draw;
(c)    click on the “Tweet” button; and
(d)    complete your Twitter account log-in details and click on the blue “Sign in and Tweet” button in the pop-up,
during the Entry Period specified in condition 3.1 above. Any entries which are received outside the Entry Period shall not be considered regardless of the reason.
3.3    You can only enter the Prize Draw once so please only follow the entry steps set out at condition 3.2 once. No third party entries, bulk entries or entries submitted by agents will be accepted.  
3.4    There is no charge to enter the Prize Draw; however, standard mobile data and internet connection charges may apply.
3.5    Unfortunately, We cannot be held responsible for entries which are lost or corrupted or for any entries to the Prize Draw which We do not receive as a result of any technical error, however caused.  In addition We cannot accept any liability for any difficulties experienced in submitting an entry.  Proof of entry or submission will not be proof of receipt.   

4    JUDGING

4.1    One winner will be selected at random from all entries received by Us which comply with these Terms and Conditions (the “Winner”). We will tweet the Winner on Sunday 27 April 2014 to notify them. 

4.2    If We notify you that you have been selected as the Winner and you do not acknowledge such notification and provide the details we have requested within five (5) days from the date of notification, then We shall be entitled to withdraw your selection as the Winner and We shall have the right to select an alternative Winner in Our absolute discretion. 

5    PRIZE

5.1    The Winner will receive a prize (the “Prize”) consisting of, subject to these terms and conditions, a pair of standard 3-Day tickets to Wireless Festival to be held at Perry Park, Birmingham on 4 to 6 July 2014 (the “Festival”) along with a pair guest passes which shall grant you and your companion entry to the guest area of the Festival.
5.2    The Prize will be posted to the Winner.
5.3    The person to whom the Winner allocates his or her second ticket in the Prize must be at least 14 years old.
5.4    There are no Prize substitutions or cash alternatives and the Prize is not transferable.
5.5    Where for reasons outside of Our reasonable control We are unable to deliver to the Winner the whole or any part of his or her Prize We shall have the right to decide on and substitute all or part of his or her Prize offered for an alternative prize We reasonably nominate.
5.6    The Winner and his or her companion shall, in addition to these Terms and Conditions, be bound by any terms and conditions applicable to the Festival (including, without limitation, the Festival terms and conditions  accessible at: http://mail.live-store.com/images/wireless/Wireless2014Termsandconditions.html). 
5.7    The Winner and his or her companion will be solely responsible for all their own accommodation and travel and any and all other expenses incurred in connection with the Prize. We assume no responsibility and are not liable for any costs, charges, expenses or taxes which the Winner and their companion may be required to pay at any time in connection with the Prize.

6    WINNER

You agree that if you are the Winner:
6.1    you consent to Us using your name and/or image in Our publicity for the Prize Draw and in such promotional materials as We see fit whether now or in the future, anywhere in the world;
6.2    you agree that you will not be entitled to any payment for such use; and
6.3    you will sign such documents as We reasonably request to confirm this.

7    FINAL DECISION

7.1    In all matters Our decision will be final and no correspondence or discussion shall be entered into with you or any other party on your behalf regarding the process or details of such decision.

8    LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

8.1    We cannot be held responsible for any costs incurred by you in entering the Prize Draw (whether or not such entry is successful) or in relation to you taking part in the Prize Draw. 
8.2    We will not be responsible for any losses you suffer as a result of Our breach of these Terms and Conditions unless those losses were reasonably foreseeable to both you and Us at the date you enter the Prize Draw. 
8.3    For the avoidance of doubt, We will not be liable to you, in contract, tort (including, without limitation, negligence) or otherwise in connection with the Prize Draw for:
(a)    loss of revenues, profits, contracts, business or anticipated savings or loss of data; or
(b)    any loss of goodwill or reputation; or
(c)    any special or indirect or consequential losses;
however caused.
8.4    Nothing in these Terms and Conditions shall exclude or limit Our liability:
(a)    for death or personal injury resulting from Our negligence or a deliberate act or omission of Us or any of Our officers, employees or agents;
(b)    for fraudulent misrepresentation; or
(c)    to the extent that liability cannot by law be excluded or limited.
8.5    We will not be liable for any damages or losses as a result of failure by Us to deliver the Prize Draw, a Prize or any other prizes as a result of any circumstances outside of Our direct and reasonable control including, but not limited to, as a result of a server failure (including but not limited to access delays or interruptions, data non-delivery or mis-delivery), any act(s) of God, war or terrorism, breaches of security or unauthorised use of personal data arising from hacking and / or failure or lack of reception of telephone or mobile telephone networks.

9    YOUR LIABILITY TO US AND YOUR STATUTORY RIGHTS

9.1    You agree to fully indemnify Us in respect of all liabilities, damages, claims, actions, expenses (including reasonable legal fees), demands or costs incurred by Us as a result of any breach by You of the Terms and Conditions.
9.2    Nothing contained in these Terms and Conditions shall affect any statutory rights which you may be entitled to as a consumer.

10    YOUR DATA

10.1    Your personal data will be used solely in accordance with the current data protection legislation and in accordance with Our privacy policy (available via the hyperlink at Condition 1.3 above) which governs Our use of personal data collected from the Prize Draw.

11    GOVERNING LAW

11.1    These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with English Law and any dispute arising from them shall be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.

12    ENQUIRIES

12.2    The name of the Winner will be made available on receipt of a stamped self-addressed envelope by Us.
12.3    All enquiries regarding the Prize Draw (including requests for the name of the Winner) must be received by Us within 28 days of the closing date of the Prize Draw as set out in condition 3.1.

Can I camp at Wireless?

Nope! Wireless is not a camping festival, so please don't bring your tent and make sure you arrange accommodation if you plam to stay overnight. Take a look at our Travel info pages to see how you can get to and from the festival site.
