Festival Info

Wireless sponsored by Barclaycard, now in its 6th year, is the premier multi-day festival in the heart of London, set in the stunning surroundings of Hyde Park.  Over multiple stages, you get the biggest and best of today’s dance, pop and rock acts mixed with the hippest newcomers.

The now legendary dance day has seen incredible performances from Daft Punk, Fatboy Slim, Basement Jaxx, Underworld, Deadmau5, Dizzee Rascal, Klaxons, LCD Soundsystem and many more.

Past years have also included stellar headliners such as Jay-Z, Depeche Mode, Kasabian, Morrissey, Kanye West, Massive Attack, White Stripes and The Strokes.

Coupled with the amazing music, Wireless hosts an array of festival activity – a massive beer garden, food stalls, chill out areas and interactive games.  There’s no camping at Wireless (and no horrible shower queues or muddy tents!), but why would you need that?  With a load of tube lines and bus routes going to Hyde Park, getting to and from the festival couldn’t be easier.

Every year gets better and better and 2010 is sure to be no exception!

Click on the menus on the right hand side to find more specific information you’re looking for.

ARENA ADMISSION POLICY

All tented structures have a set capacity that, by law, we cannot exceed. If there is a particular artist you want to see, you should check their performance time and ensure you are there early, as we cannot guarantee admittance to these areas. Only children aged 2 and under will be admitted free of charge, otherwise you will need a full price ticket for everyone attending.

N.B. This event is not suitable for small children as it will be very busy and loud.

Live Nation provide facilities in the arena to accommodate disabled customer's needs, please see the other headings on the right. Not all disabled customer's need use of these facilities but we will provide access to whatever is needed and/or a free carer ticket to ensure your stay is comfortable and most of all enjoyable.

BOOKING TICKETS

Live Nation manage all disabled customer ticket sales in-house.

We have a Disabled Customers hotline number that patrons can call to book tickets -  It is 020 7195 2133. N.B.  This number is operational Monday to Friday, 10am to 6pm only.  Please leave a message should nobody be available and we will call you back.

Every customer that wishes to use the facilities or bring a carer with them will be required to send in documentation supporting their request.  This is to confirm their eligibility and to ensure the support facilities we offer are not being abused.

The most common documentation used for this is a copy of a customer's current DLA award letter. Not all customers in receipt of DLA will need use of the facilities and/or a carer and we will discuss this during the booking process.

Should this not be available for any reason, we would request a letter from their doctor detailing their recommendation for a carer and/or access to the facilities.

ARENA FACILITIES

Access to the arena is via Gate X5.

Viewing platforms are available at the Main, 2nd and 3rd stages and have a strict one plus one policy (disabled customer + their carer). Non-disabled customers may be asked to leave the platform when it is busy to avoid overcrowding and we ask all customers to be considerate of others needs.

We will provide access to the viewing platforms for all customers that need use of this facility. This includes, though not exclusively, wheelchair users, customers who are unable to stand for long periods and customers unable to be in large crowds.

There are accessible toilets located in most toilet blocks on the site, and specifically by the viewing platforms.

PARKING

Car parking will be available for disabled badge holders in the Triangle car park by the Serpentine Bridge.  Spaces are limited and are available on a first come first served basis. This facility will be free on production on an official disability badge.

A map showing the location of the car park is available here

Access to this area via Exhibition Road from the South or Bayswater Road from the North side of Hyde Park.

Alternative parking can be found in the Masterpark car park on Park Lane.

CARBON OFFSETTING

Trying to get to the festival in an environmentally friendly way, but still want to do more?  Donate a few pence to negate the carbon emitted by travelling to the festival and we’ll invest it all into environmental projects at local schools.

Climate change is a pressing global issue. Nevertheless, there are things that we can all do.

We are committed to encouraging sustainable transport options to Wireless and would also like to offer customers the opportunity to negate their unavoidable carbon emissions associated with travelling to this event by investing in environmental projects in schools around Hyde Park.

If you would like to participate in this scheme, there is an option to add 50p to your order on the shipping page and we’ll use all the money to fund environmental projects in local schools. Last year we built a garden area at Edward Wilson Primary School and provided them with environmental teaching resources.
